Outlet Stores are supposedly still going to be around.

After a brief 2 year stint, the Petite Sophisticate, the only national chain exclusively offering women’s petite-size apparel website is closed for business.

The website launched in '07 to serve the millions of petite women looking for clothes that fit. The site launched with a mediocre selection of petite styles at low prices. Petite Sophisticate targeted women 35–55 years old and offerered contemporary apparel for women wearing sizes 0p–14p.

Petite Sophisticate is owned by Charming Shoppes. Same company ownes Fashion Bug, Cathrines, Lane Bryant stores.

Petite Sophisticate Outlets are still around in some locations throughout US. Click here to see all Petite Outlets still opened.
