Diesel, Soho New York

Diesel's spacious Soho store has a small collection (no pun intended) of Spring items in sizes including XXS and XS for petite ladies. I love the way that the material feels --- like it's been worn several times (in a good way). Colors are mostly blacks and greys.

Burberry, Soho New York

Burberry's collection starts at size 38 but runs small. The purple dress is a 36 and sits well on a petite model at $250. Burberry seems to be in the winter mode, their collection is suprisingly void of any Spring items..or maybe they are ahead by a few seasons :).

10/10 Optics, Mid Town New York - Petite Eyewear!

The 10/10 Optics Petite Collection is colorful, stylish and sizedjust right, so that one pair will never be enough. 10/10 is famous for their colorful designer glasses from Israeli artist Ronit Furst.

Club Monaco, Soho New York

Club Monaco is the slightly more stylish, less main stream, smaller selection Banana Republic. They don't carry "petite" sizes but have the typical XS fare. The fabrics are great and will last a long time. I is owned by Ralph Lauren and has 69 stores in North America. They offer free tailoring!

Notice the color on the orangy shirt. Apparently this is the HOT color for Spring as most designers have at least a couple of items in this exact color. See the earlier posts!

Guess by Marciano, Soho New York

Marciano is one of the original designers of Guess label. The clothes are fun, stylish, colorful and petites can find a great fit with their XS/PT sizes. Notice again that exact shade of orange! That shirt is goooorgeous! $108 and will sell out fast.

Uniqlo, Soho New York

Uniqlo, a Japanese brand, opened their largest store yet in Soho in 2006. Their basic collection in a rainbow of colors is strikingly similar to American Apparel, even in their Ads. They don't carry petite sizes but have XS sizes for most clothes. Their collection is more practical than stylish. You can find great basic tees in every color and shape (v-neck, scoop neck etc). My favorite in the store was the rain coat ($39.99) made of super thin material and available in blue, pink and red. Perfect for Spring!

Petite finds from 2.16.09

Eileen Fisher, Soho New York

Eileen Fisher carries petite sizes 2p-14p. The style speaks simplicity, earthiness, creativity. These styles look and feel great and are good for work or weekend. The Spring collection includes eco-friendly, 100% hemp collection.

Elie Tahari - Spring Collection

Elie Tahari offers a handful of petite/small/x-small items in the Spring Collection though it may not always label them as such. Perhaps petite women don't want to think of themselves as petite, but rather x-small. The fabrics in the Spring collection are bright silks in femine ruffle colorful styles.

Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana does not carry "petite" labeled clothes but sizes go as small as 36 (size o). Many dresses in the collection are short length, so petites can definitely shop this store for special occasions. This is not an every day petite designer, but rather for sex and the city type moments :)

Lacoste, Soho New York

Lacoste does not label their clothes sizes as petite, but sizes go as low as 34 and have a suprisingly wonderful fit on a petite gal. The materials are super soft and comfortable and clothes are ideal for casual work offices or weekend play time. I love their v-neck long sleeve short collection in many colors, its oh so soft!

American Eagle

American Eagle labels their petite clothes as s-p. Their collection is geared toward to younger audience, but working adults can find some nice summer and work items here as well. The material is great, the price is even better. The summer collection is full of bright colors and cottons. Great store for basics that will look good every season.
